Reality Check contains a link to and critical discussion about a recent report issued by the Australian government on its projected carbon dioxide emissions compared to various targets for emissions reductions.

According to Pielke jnr if Australia builds 56 nuclear power plants or 3,333 Solar Thermal Power Plant by 2020 then we might be able to meet the desired target. In other words, Gillard’s carbon tax is an expensive waste of time, whose only real purpose is to shore up support from The Greens.

There are three threads at Brave New Climate devoted to analysis and critique of the Zero Carbon Australia report:

BNC community analysis of the Zero Carbon Australia 2020 Report (July 2010)

‘Zero Carbon Australia – Stationary Energy Plan’ – Critique (August 2010)

Another ZCA 2020 Critique – will they respond? (September 2010)

Rundle is telling very strange untruths about us at crikey and LP
    http://larvatusprodeo.net/2011/03/07/guy-rundle-on-libya-the-west-and-ideology/
He is in exactly the same fix as Steve (and I bet his mate Sparrow is as well) but they haven’t had it explained to them yet!

My comment is held up in spaminator. Somebody might like to point out that Rundle is way out off his mark.
